Get ready for some physically and mentally challenging
team-building activities at the 2010 Team-Building Workshop & Annual
Meeting.
This year, Blackhawk Technical College’s Ed-Venture Program
– led by Jeff Messer, who has served as a Town of Beloit firefighter/MPO/EMT
– will provide an adventurous hands-on introduction to the principles of
critical thinking, working together and group dynamics. These lessons will
help departments improve communication, problem solving and leadership.
The day also features the membership meeting and a
presentation by State EMS Section officials, who are expected to discuss
E-Licensing, administrative rules and funding initiatives.
The 2010 Team-Building Workshop & Annual Meeting will be held
April 10 at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Registration will
open at 8:30 a.m.; the day’s activities begin at 9 a.m. and run through 4:00
p.m.
The cost to attend the day’s activities is $25 for members
and $50 for non-members. (Non-members should join WEMSA today
here for $20 and
effectively save $5 on the workshop fee.) Lunch is included! Advance registration must be done
by April 1; registration will be available on-site for an additional $10.
