SB-127 March 18, 2009 Bill to increase medical malpractice claim limits from $25,000 to $250,000 for volunteer fire companies and from $50,000 to $250,000 for municipal EMS providers.
AB-313 June 16, 2009 Bill to prohibit DHFS from charging a fee for EMT-Basic licenses. Bill has language similar to that in place for Wisconsin First Responders.
AB-324 June 16, 2009 Bill to make it a class A misdemeanor to impersonate an EMT, First Responder or Firefighter.
AB-394 August 26, 2009 Bill to require the Department of Transportation (DOT) to return to the color and design of special distinguishing registration plates for fire fighters and emergency medical technicians that was previously in use until it was changed in 2007.
SB-308 September 24, 2009 Bill to prohibit employment discrimination against a volunteer fire fighter, emergency medical technician, first responder, or ambulance driver. who is late for or absent from work if the lateness or absence is due to the employee responding to an emergency that begins before the employee is required to report to work. 
N/A Not Yet Introduced Bill would require anyone that drives an emergency vehicle to complete a formal DOT training course of approximately 16 hours.
